Thank you for your interest in membership in CACDA. Membership dues are collected on a calendar year basis. All members except for Cooperating Members must be employed by a governmental animal care and control agency, or a nonprofit humane society/SPCA under contract to provide animal care and control services to a governmental agency.

Each member from an agency must sign up as a member in one of the following categories:

Agency Member: $150/year

Includes the regular membership of the Director or highest ranking individual of the agency plus two (2) general memberships of individuals from that agency or organization.

Regular Member: $80/year

Open to all directors of agencies that provide animal control field and/or shelter services, and have more than ten (10) employees.

Associate Member: $60/year

Individuals defined by their Director as an Assistant Director, second in command or similar position, or the only or most senior officer in an agency that has ten (10) or fewer employees.

General Member: $40/year

Any individual who is not eligible for Regular or Associate membership - perfect for Animal Control Officers, Animal Care Technicians and other shelter staff!

Cooperating Member: $40/year

Cooperating membership shall be open to people who significantly contribute to the goals and objectives of CACDA and who are nominated by the director of an active Agency Member or an active Regular Member and approved by the Board.

Honorary Member: Free

Honorary membership in the Corporation shall be open to persons who have made an outstanding contribution to the animal control field. Honorary membership shall be bestowed on a person who has been nominated by an active Agency Member and has been approved by the board. Honorary Members shall not be required to pay dues.
